A friend recommended this book to me.  I was curious if anyone else have read it yet?  The description sounds interesting...  some of the reviews on amazon are decent.  but this dude is makes $ on motivational stuff and self promotion so maybe it isn't all that it is cracked up to be...

this remind me of FST-7 where there's always a finishing set of 7x12 (or so) in light(er) weights to really pump the muscles up and for the burn.

FYI, store.nike.com has a special promo additional 25% OFF until only JAN 2ND, 2011.   So you can get the Zoom Waffle VIII for 32.98 right now.  My favorite Nike Air Generate is only 29.98 with the discount.  I'm also gonna pickup T-Lite VIII for 23.23 and Air Monarch III for 37.48.  over $100=free shipping too.  123.67 for 4 shoes or 30.91 average.  not bad and should last me for a while.  :)  the only draw back is there is no color selection but who cares function over form!!

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hello there!
« on: December 24, 2010, 05:28:14 am »
Hello! I'm Kokoy, well as you can see on my username, and I'm a Filipino. I'm 17 yrs old. I want to bust the stereotypes and myths that we Filipinos (and Asians) can't jump high (except for the tall guys)! That's one of my goals in life, to have 45+ inch vertical, and to be an inspiration for my friends and countrymen.

 :welcome:

but, the truth is usually the smaller the Asian the more athletic they are.  the taller Asians usually are less coordinated and jump not as well as the smaller counter parts.  there are plenty of speedy little asian dudes and lot of them have mad hops.  i know this old school pinoy guy he's like 55 now.  he's my height 180cm/5'11" and back he the days he was on the Philippines National team and he could dunk.  that's not too shabby at all.

i doubt i'm worrying about anything deep inside.   i'm a happy camper and a worry free person and i'm not under any pressure for anything really.  what's getting to me a little bit is not only has it been 3 earthquake dreams in the last month.  they were all some HUGE ASS earth quakes.  like freaking magnitude 8.0+ stuff...

a lucid dream
by Frank M. Lin on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 4:43pm

~12/10/2010 forgot to write down the time i created this note initially...  now it go updated.  arrg.

whoa, just had a weird and super lucid dream in the quick pre-gym nap.  i dreamed a huge ass earth quake hit, biggest ever i've been in.  and i've been in 2 fairly big ones, the 1989 San Francisco@ 6.9/7.1 and the 1999 @ 7.1/7.3 in Taiwan (which i thought i was going to die in that one).  but this one i was just in was far crazier and felt so real.  but the crazy part was in the dream couple people started to pray to buddah or their god not to die and i started doing a chi-kong stance and i start to levitate 3" off the groud (it was as if i was sucking up the earth quake energy), and then i couldn't see any more, it was  as if i was transported to another place for several seconds, until the quake was over.  then i came back, still floating, then landed.  it was kind of at the hotel of some sort and i was even talking to some hotel staff, "hey that was crazy.  your building is very well built and still standing"...

12/24/2010 5am

what the hell!  another vivid dream about an earth quake, that's 3 times in couple of weeks.  there was another earth quake dream like last week, also very clear as well at the time but i chose not to write it down.  is this a premonition a big quake is about to hit taiwan or california?!?!  since i'm planning to head back to cali very soon...  this time it's odd as hell, not only is it the longest quake i've been in the whole freaking mountain was "running".  so bizarre.

Nutrition & Supplementation / if you believe mass produced milk is bad...
« on: December 21, 2010, 02:46:52 am »
some say lot of mass farm dairy cows receive antibiotics and hormone injections and that gets pass down to its milk.  i would imagine whey and casein are likely sourced from the same mass production milk farm right??  should i be worried at all?

it's like a tiny pop noise right?  when i rotate my legs in a certain position i can make it click every time.  it'll also make the sound if i flex the toe up while squeezing/flex the whole leg, or when i simple squat down ATG while touching both knees together.

one massage therapist explained that it is air trapped in the tendon sometimes and the sound is just the air getting squeezed out and it's nothing to worry about.  assuming we're talking about the same noise.

Basketball / Re: Basketball fights, bad fouls, hard shit, dirty shit, etc..

The referee should have died. I hate referees with all my heart, bunch of retarded guys who couldn't play basketball so they took their frustration into judging plays and making all sorts of bad calls and being superior about them like they are gods of the game. I hate them from all my gut

??!  there are bad refs but there are also good refs.  you can't just hate them all dude.

that was an extremely cowardly punch.  wtf was the black dude whining about?  he wanted an and 1 call??!  what's the big fucking deal you made the basket already.
