i think im going to go dribble my bball.. nice! heh.

i need to get some 'deep knee bends' and such going, and some more movements in general.. bball dribbling would tackle that. Only thing i'm wondering about is my elbow. I've been putting it off because of my tennis-elbow but, it might actually do it some good.

fairly huge gap between R and L jumps, no? like 8+?

regarding vert, actually not that large of a difference right now. if I wanted I could hit 10'-10'1 with R-SLRVJ. Several months back I hit ~10'2" R-SLRVJ (which was a life time PR). So more like ~4-5" currently, but that will continue to grow (as my L-SLRVJ improves)

the enormous gap is "how it feels to jump" off each leg. It just feels like crap jumping off my R-SLRVJ; coordination, power, mentally, run-up, everything. So instead of pushing it i'm just getting some light reps in.

If I was focusing on R-SLRVJ though, I just don't see how it would improve as fast as my L-SLRVJ because of the coordination issues. I mean it probably looks decent, but, my ability to really generate power off of that leg barely exists. Just going to keep lightly repping it out and see what happens.

Roy Jones JR is my favorite boxer of all time... he's just, I don't know, amazing, looks unreal at times, has has a great combination of savagery, athleticism and "swagger"/arrogance.

nice! ya he's video game status.

he is #1 in many books.. going from jr middleweight to heavyweight is also insane.

only fighters i can remember with nearly as much swagger, is Prince Naseem Ahmed or Pernell Whitacker.. Naseem had insane power + swagger.

btw.. if you want to see some serious beast shit, nothing beats roy jones jr's highlight tape, with his own rap song, knocking everyone out. That part where he destroys the double end bag, in the intro at ~6-11 s gets me every time.. that is so unreal.. it's hard to explain how difficult that is.

also roy played professional basketball (CBA?).. most athletic boxer i've ever seen. You can see the basketball (streetball) influence in the ring. He's basically doing streetball shit in a boxing ring.

beast as fuck.

edit: FWIW, mayweather and pacquiao both love bball too, mayweather is actually decent (IIRC). Sergio Martinez could have played professional futbol I think.. futbol/basketball have to be great for footwork in the ring. Basketball even more-so because you also get that hand/arm coordination from dribbling.

This is 6'6 230lb now heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Was up checking his insta account late last night and marveling at how athletic he is. Plenty of plyo routines as a part of his regiment it seems.

https://instagram.com/p/7ud4MAxyZ5/

Another here, monstrous physique on him. I also feel like British athletics does very well in training their athletes in a number of sports. Their rap is crap though.

ya he's a freak, crazy athletic. knocking everyone out, gold medalist.

normally guys with those kinds of physiques (to a lesser degree, his is ridiculous) don't do so good at HW.. he's legit though. They need to get him some bigger fights soon.

all that power/skill, hope to see him take out some big names ;d

some really nice jumps in there, absolutely loved that two hand rim grab.. that's a dunk-jump for sure. Also that one where yellow-shorts blocked most of it looked really high.. are you getting more amp'd up when people are around?

do you know if you can record in 720p? i'm getting 280p on youtube.

sick man. pC!

GSW huge win @ San Antonio.. 72-9 right now. Curry put on a show.

next game wednesday @ home against Memphis.

73-9 a likely possibility, sick.

btw deep down i always root for bradley.. just love that dude, such a warrior.

pac will probably get a UD.. and bradley doesn't really deserve this third fight.. but just can't NOT pull for him in pretty much every fight I see him in. Especially after that war with provodnikov.

war bradley.

trying to run a little faster to the court & back from the court, if I can.. need quality here when I can get it.

bottoms of both feet a bit achy.. plantar fasciae's sore.. quads/calves seems sore too. otherwise, feel pretty good.

got lots done today with coding but, mostly boilerplate stuff.. these boilerplate days suck.. serializing data structures between haskell & purescript etc.. very tedious but, just need to suck it up and get it done.

nba put out this "highest jumps" video of lebron.. decent. he got up ridiculous on a few of those.

i've always wondered why he hasn't done the nba dunk contest though.. is he just afraid to lose? odd.. he obviously loves dunking.
