Imagine if he hadn't sat the 4th! But that was an exciting finish to the reg season  :D

ya.. his stats are even more impressive considering how many 4th's he sat out.

Do you think his output benefits from knowing he has to play at an etherworldly level for 3 quarters not 4? Or would he perform better if given the chance to play more minutes. I read that MJ played 40 games at 40 mins in their 72-10 season .. curry played 4 (from memory).

good point.. I imagine it could be more of a benefit. The biggest benefit is less chance of injury IMHO. Regardless though, I think if he played more minutes he'd just rack up more stats. He's just too accurate.

GSW was looking a bit run down towards the end of the season.. but the last two games they looked great. So i'm not sure if they just got over some mental hump or what.. But they look really strong going into the playoffs.

« on: April 14, 2016, 01:08:47 am »

man.. what a great way to finish off the 2015-2016 regular season.

Curry gets 46 by the third quarter. Curry hits 400 3-pointers in a season. Curry averages 30 ppg & 50% shooting for a season, first time since 1991 (MJ).

GSW gets 73-9.

Then Kobe hits 60 in his final game. Sure he chucked up 50+ shots but who gives AF.. was so fun to watch.

right bottom of foot fuqn sore. eeh. left heal slowly getting better.

lots of coding today.. but, mostly cleanup. seems like i'm mostly cleaning stuff up lately. the GOOD news is.. i actually ran the app on this linode server. I expected it to be a little faster than my local-dev environment but, it was crazy fast. There's alot of latency in my local-dev environment because everything goes through a VPN.. so.. that was fun to see.. stuff that was taking ~4sec to load was loading instantly for example.

also after cleanup, haskell backend has 0 warnings.. purescript frontend still has a ton of warnings.. trying to get rid of all of these warnings, bothers me. Lots of the warnings are on stupid things like imports/exports not being used. bleh.

if my damn feet are fine tomorrow i'd like to run/jump, but, i doubt it.. might need another day.

pc!

You know what I never understood? How you guys don't have a mandatory ID in the USA? Here in Romania, everybody has one at the age of 14. You renew it every 10 years or so.

There it seems people are unidentifiable unless they have medical insurance or a driving license or something.

Here, you just take your ID, to go the voting poll, vote, and go home. That's it. Nothing to fuss about.

ya i dno.. i mean sure everyone should have one, that'd be ideal. I have no problem with that. I guess the problem is, lots of old people don't have them.. same with lots of poor people, and even very young people who don't drive etc. So I mean there are reasons why people don't have ID. Also, you hear lots of stories like, "you need ID to get ID".. so there's also a group of people here that have problems getting ID. i dno I recall it being a few million eligible voters don't actually have ID.

So I guess the real problem is, these voter ID laws are being implemented BEFORE the transition to everyone having an ID. ie, just out of nowhere, you can make people ineligible to vote. If say, you had some 4-8 year plan to make sure everyone has ID, and then you enacted such laws.. it would make more sense IMHO. But to just out of nowhere implement these voter ID laws which apparently, disproportionately effect poor & elderly, it's really just a ploy to make it harder for dems to vote, is the argument from the dems. That, in combination with shrinking the amount of polling/voting stations dramatically, makes it harder for people to vote in general.

democrat or republican, doesn't matter to me. They just need to make sure that it's easier for people to vote, it's accurate, & it's fair.

these closed primaries piss me off. I'm an independent, i'm not a democrat.. yet I have to change my party affiliation to Democrat, to vote for an Independent who is running as a Democrat. Think of the bullshit in that paragraph.. HEH!

Paul Ryan? lel

Listen, the voting system in the USA is so obsolete and screwed up. Obviously, if you're part of the establishment, you want to keep it that way.

ya it's a sad joke. USA is among the most technologically advanced countries on earth, yet we like to keep to our traditional values and vote on paper ballots! People waiting in line for ~4+ hours to vote during a primary... Closed primaries.. Voter Id issues.. Gerrymandering..

nice!

I will watch it on Saturday.

I can actually believe Freddie wanted Canelo rather than PBF... Because everyone knew PBF was going to school Pac... but that money $$ though..

ya Martin was so timid.. given all of his trash talk, at least throw some shots with bad intentions. He barely threw a hard punch. He was just a sitting duck. Game over.
