on a canoeing trip in southern virginia, kind of in the middle of nowhere, got up early and had to take a piss, failed to put on shoes before walking away from campsite, kicked tent stake by accident. goodbye, front of toe.

always wear shoes when you're in the middle of nowhere.

damn you must have kicked it hard as fuck.

Especially like that, because of a wet spot on the floor. I'm soooo scared of wet spots, if I feel I slip just 0.000000001% I completely shut down. I'm like whatever, I'll just be extremely slow and safe rather than risk serious injury.

ya, outdoor courts are so much safer when it comes to wet-spot issues. i prefer good outdoor courts (for pickup games) for that very reason.

sandy outdoor courts suck too though. need a nice one with no sand on it.

the worst is when I used to go to that really good indoor gym during the winter, and somehow the court would be like 'ice'. I'd ask them for my $3 back and i'd leave. Some weird issue with the temperature and what it does to that surface, made it so slick. Would never attempt to dunk on it.

Check out his penultimate step at 0:27, look how deep his knee bend is on that left leg, never seen that in someone before.

ya that's really deep. looks interesting, makes me want to try it out.

crap. looked bad.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzhcPmGfPZo" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzhcPmGfPZo</a>

hope it's only a slight sprain.. that looked like a potential ligament tear.

and you see how he gets up so quick etc? you know - he knows it's bad. he's basically trying to just deny what happened and change reality.

i hate seeing anyone get injured :/

it looked like they were going to let him play.. but man curry didn't look good coming back onto the court to warmup after half time.

very good move not playing him. the way he's moving & the incident itself, looks like he damaged his knee to some degree.

golovkin always brings to mind this incredible gif:

ya he's got crazy power. In this fight he let Wade hit him several times, he looked bored.

11815
FUCK! just watched curry potentially wreck his knee.. he's probably ok but he slipped really bad and you saw his knee cave in medially. He limped off the court..

i dno, looked somewhat bad.

someone fell down, with their sweat on the court. a few seconds later curry tries to stop fast and slides on it.

:(

Boxing / GGG vs Wade, Chocolatito vs Arroyo

easy work for GGG. Amazing how bad he crushed Wade's confidence by the end of the 2nd round (and fight). Wade looked ruined. GGG power = nuts.

Hope he keeps calling out PBF, that's the fight i'd love to see. ;f If not, canelo vs GGG will be decent. Canelo should KO Khan.

As for chocolatito, not the best performance.. but man he is a machine. He's just non stop. I'd like to see him vs a crazy skilled counter puncher/defensive boxer with power.. Everyone i've seen him fight is pretty much tailor made for him. He's a damn machine though, unreal how he just keeps coming, doesn't really look fatigued at all, and throws non stop.

well I just saw my first "UFO". weird unidentifiable flying object, not in the alien sense.

so i'm outside late chucking dog toys around.. sky is very clear, can see stars/constellations very easily.. so I notice some "dark red" light moving far off, it wasn't going super fast but it was definitely moving.. The light also didn't blink. so i'm watching it for a minute or so cross the sky, expecting it to eventually look more like a plane at night, and then poof, gone.

I kept looking for it to re-appear, for basically 15 minutes.. nothing.
