How did you... find out about your dog's issue? lol

was giving both of them a bath/trim.. so when i went to cut his butt hair, boom.. looked like an ape butt (on one side, big red purple-ish cheek).

take your pet to the vet, get raped $$.

should be a meme :f

they said he has a ruptured anal gland.. apparently it's not a huge deal.. but they need to do some work on it. That hole I mentioned was apparently the rupture, into the sac.

gonna pick up the little bro in a few hours.

impacted anal gland, sounds damn painful! hope he gets better quick

thanks man.

ya it's crazy.. he didn't express any symptoms, pain, scooting.. nothing. and all of a sudden it seems very bad. I can see a 'hole' in his butt cheek/anal gland or whatever.  Going to try to get him in to see the vet when they open in 3 hours.

I did a bunch of warm compresses on him which definitely helped the swelling. But that hole didn't exist until recently.

so much for sleeping.

got lots of coding done today.. but my compile times via purescript are really depressing me.. takes ~40s to compile when I make a change :/ can't figure out what's causing it other than the compiler being slow.. but.. some people have big projects which compile a little faster than mine, yet the projects are much bigger so.. probably something i'm doing. bleh.

tmw need to start working on a bbcode parser using purescript-parsing.

Cleveland vs Atlanta: Game 2.

wtf?

Such atrocious defense. Guys wide open.

I think they hit ~14/19 wide open 3's (14 wide open/hardly contested, 5 tough) in the first half..

I'd prefer forcing Lebron into shots in the paint, or have him hit free throws, than collapse on him with EVERYONE and leave people wide open for 3. Slow the game down, make it physical, beat lebron up..

(fwiw, i'm hoping for CLE/MIA in Eastern Conference Finals, and GSW/SA in West)

Shoes / Re: New Balance 5000v2 - Spikeless running shoes
« on: May 04, 2016, 01:28:18 pm »
I literally cannot find a pair of these anywhere!!

in regards to the 5mm drop i mean, it's intersting...if you look at 5mm its so small...you wonder how much of an impact that could have? but i have seen people saying going form 0 to 4mm changed stuff so i dunno? 4-5mm drop stuff seems to be way more popular than zero, i mean most of the new balance minimus are 4mm.

although i literally can't find a UK stockist of the v2 5000s anywhere - don't understand! i'd have to ship them from the U.S. which i imagine would make it pretty expensive, so kind of leaning towards either the NB minimus trail or Merrel trail gloves at this point

daamn sux!

the trail glove looks pretty nice.. but so does the minimus trail. probably a toss up.

I personally defer to NB now. If only they made minimalist basketball shoes (like they do tennis shoes).. i'd def love to see that. Something like the kobe's but stripped down a bit more/lighter, but just as strong.

how do you go about tfl massage? mine are pretty grim, find it dificult to get in there with a lax ball though!

i sit down to relax my hips, then I use fingers mostly (thumb or 2nd/3rd/4th). I used to lie on a tennis ball etc but, I can dig in there better with my fingers.

Yes he 's had some unbelievable blocks recently.

Yeah inbounding was terrible.
Whatever happened to the old single file inbound formation? When did that go out of vogue?

dude great point.. i havn't seen that in a long time wtf? that's a pretty effective technique.. you don't know who is going to set the pick etc.

odd..

Yeah I've noticed quite a few teams having trouble inbounding lately. Maybe it's cause they can go back court now.

Btw, Lillard is on fire.

then the coach took him out to start the 4th.. to give him some 'rest'.. looked like a bad idea at the time; Lillard was ice cold when he got back in. I just don't think you take a guy like that out when he's knocking down everything.. They have a chance to steal game 2 @ GS and then they go flat in the 4th after they take him out (and he comes back in). Bad move imho.
