you kind of look like a professional arm wrestler in the last pic.

one of my favorite memories is when you managed to get T-DUB to join theverticalsummit, to "cuss you out". LMFAO.

i'm not adarq, but don't cut your mileage.

ya i agree. and Stamos you seem to be making some good progress lately on these runs.

Do you have access to stairs? If so, I would actually get some stair runs in. We used to run them all of the time when I was at MSC .. people's first experiences with them were ALWAYS bad. It's good to get in some stair runs ahead of time.

We'd also let people training for firefighter's tets run them etc.. They'd eventually put on vests and run them.

Might be hard finding some stairs to run though.. could always run bleachers perhaps. We had a 6 story parcking garage (for the hospital) with stairs on the outside, it was perfect.

x2 :goodjobbro:

"the (singular)" sony breach? lulz.. :) they have been hacked so much it's ridiculous.. to be fair, they are also huge targets.

how's the office there? high-rise office space? those are nice settings.. especially if you ever work night shifts. i dno why but staring out of high rise buildings that overlook a city, at 4 AM and such is kind of fun.

job sounds fun, happy 4 u mayne! hope you get it.

The video shows what 9.58 seconds feels like in regards to usain bolt's record and his training and life, but the narrator is michael johnson who states in the video at the beginning something like 'This is what 9.58 seconds feels like...' and therefore it is michael johnson who is showing what 9.58 seconds feels like rather than usain bolt.

Maybe i probably misused it at the wrong time or something  :uhhhfacepalm:

hah nah, makes sense. sorry wasn't thinking ;f

making me want to eat healthier, too...

hah nice.

i feel like a teenage girl taking pics of my food.. but it's fun.. makes me want to cook healthier EVEN MORE.

Yeah seriously.... But the healthiest I ever ate and the leanest I got was when I had time and motivation to cook and got really into it as a hobby... You bet I was taking pictures nonstop...  While your into cooking really enjoy the great shape you can get into...

nice! ya it's definitely fun .. and cost effective. hah

haven't been on much today.. been so busy looking into React + Flux, because reflex seems like too much for me atm.. react/flux make more sense given my current ui code. So, haskell has a react-flux library which is very impressive. Just got done getting a routing example working, and i must say i am much more excited to get back to migrating this forum code back over to this new framework + haskell full stack.

morning resting heart rate = didn't measure
soreness = calves slightly, hamstrings slightly
aches = right hip flexor slightly
injuries = left ankle slightly (lateral malleolus), right knee scrape
standing desk (when on computer): none
feel = weak

moving LEFT ANKLE issue to injury.. seems to be a constant nag now when I initially start running. It goes away but, something can't be right in there.. it's

bleh!!

Food

Food

5 PM

Food

6 PM

Session: Evening

9 PM
- shoes: xc 900 v2

run to court: 0.97 mi in 5m25s
- wtf? ran unexpectedly fast
- i decided to push it on the way up, was definitely moving..
- but close to a PR mile without knowing it? wtf?
- 1km: 3m15s (-6s off PR)
- predicted mile: 5m32s (-7s off PR), @ 10.83 mph
- also i crossed two streets.....

crazy

jumps at court:
- L-SLRVJ: ~10'6"
- R-SLRVJ: ~10'0"
- LR-DLRVJ: ~10'6"
- RL-DLRVJ: ~10'4"

felt way better jumping in the xc 900 v2's.. much safer feeling when doing DLRVJ.. got up good on a few DLRVJ's. crazy though, legs feel really weak jumping DLRVJ, maybe i'll make some good gains if I stay consistent with it.

L-SLRVJ was submax .. so decent jumps.

slow run: 3.28 mi in 25m
- first mile 6m36s, which is good after jumping
- dead, drenched.

Food

- big stir fry: 2 broccoli (head + stalk), 1 potato, 1 carrot, kalamata olives, 1 head of garlic, 1/2 green pepper, red chili pepper, serrano pepper, 1/2 plantain, 4 turmeric, mixed nuts, olive oil, goat cheese at the end
- a few crackers

well today was kind of horrible, because of the sleep/dog stuff.

Bio: Morning

last night's sleep: ~7 hours
last night fell asleep: ~11 AM
wakeup = 6 PM
^- HORRIBLE
bw = 150
morning resting heart rate = didn't measure
soreness = hips
aches = right hip flexor slightly, left hamstring tendon
injuries = right tennis elbow slightly, right knee scrape
standing desk (when on computer): none
feel = weak
water = alot

Food

10:30 AM

- sausage egg and cheese on a pumpernickel bagel
- chocolate muffin
- orange juice

^^ always enjoy eating a slightly unhealthy breakfast when i haven't slept..

Food

6:30 PM

- green tea
- beet juice
- almond joy

Food

8:15 PM

- cheerios with 2% milk and honey
- beet + tart cherry juice

Session: Evening

9 PM
- shoes: saucony XC

run to court: 0.87 mi in 5m19s
- annoyed, forgot to turn off my watch.. actually ran that in ~5m09s
- ran really good for how bad i felt leading up to it .. actually felt great pushing that pace
- ~5:55 min/mi pace

jumps at court: submax
- L-SLRVJ: ~10'6
- R-SLRVJ: ~10'1
- LR-DLRVJ: ~10'4
- RL-DLRVJ: ~10'3
- MR tuck jumps: ~5 x 5

going to start adding in some DLRVJ's :F DLRVJ felt like total crap, but, it's definitely improved since I last attempted them.. was really surprised at my RL-DLRVJ being so close to LR-DLRVJ.. jumping DLRVJ in the saucony's is a bad feeling though, would feel better in my NB XC 900 v2's.

run + very short sprints: 5.34 mi in ~44min
- actually had to cut this short because of some weird car.. have to be careful

Food

really proud of myself on this one: since i'm moving everything to haskell.. I decided to port my purescript-bbcode-parser to haskell tonight. The mission was to get it working before I go to sleep. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED:

https://github.com/adarqui/haskell-bbcode-parser

Code: [Select]

Progress: 1/2
Data.BBCode.Parser
  concatTokens
concatenates subsequent BBStr tokens into one BBStr token
  concatBBStr
concatenates subsequent BBStr tokens into one BBStr token
  parseTokens'
parses a string into open, str, and closed tags
  parseBBCode
parses a string into bbcode tags
Data.BBCode.Types
  flattenTokens
    flattens tokens into a string

Finished in 0.0124 seconds
5 examples, 0 failures

Completed 2 action(s).

I literally ported EVERYTHING over, including the tests.. and it works. I had to do a ton of stuff to get it working, tons of changes.. so, proud of myself for once by being able to get this done in only a few hours. :D

peace!
