if any of you remember that incident with my boss's brother & the coach, the coach was found guilty recently:

https://www.pix11.com/news/local-news/queens/former-wake-forest-coach-cries-on-witness-stand-in-queens-one-punch-death-case

boss & his fam finally got some justice.

sentencing is in a month or so.

oh also just to be clear:

we have like 8 other co-workers, a very solid team, love my co-workers. we don't expect them to put in extra hours, nor do we ask them. so they have a normal work-life balance. one guy puts in some extra, our data analyst, really cool dude, loves diving in to the numbers. but other than that, most people put in ~40-45 a week or so.

feels gr8 to build something from the ground up; just like building athleticism from the ground up etc.

pc!

158 hours last pay period, lmfao. 8| :ffffffuuuuuu: :ninja:

Damn. Is this by choice or is it a particularly busy period?

both. lool.

Quote
Are you planning to keep this up? 158hr week is nuts. Is it from home??

nah def not planning to keep up 150+ .. 120+ is definitely the norm now tho. i'd like to keep it below 130 (under 120 could be realistic). eventually getting it to ~80 would be nice, but i lead development at this startup i've been w/ for ~3 years, so I have alot on my plate. I enjoy nearly every minute of it tho lool. One reason I put in so many extra hours is, it's basically what my boss (CEO) and I do to keep this thing growing. If I was alone in the effort, I wouldn't do it. But my boss is a top notch crank master, so it feels great going to "battle" with him. It's a good combo, because he's the business/product/ceo guy, and i'm the engineer/architect guy, and we both can go non-stop all day if we have to lmfao. :ninja: :ninja: :ninja:

and nah, it's split between home & office. i wakeup, play with pups/water plants, go to the office and work 7-8 hours, come home, walk pups (1-2 hr)/eat, then get back to coding and eventually pass out. repeat 8|

pc man!!

Collard vs Guajardo was a fun fight.. only went a few rounds but was pretty sick.

OMFG in the post fight interview, this kid just interrupted the guy who won & took over the interview.

took the pups out for a small walk (12:30 AM). but gizmo wanted to explore and was being stubborn. so i said fu*k it and went to the next community over. like 30 min later I get swarmed by literally 10 cop cars. however, they didn't actually stop me. it was odd. they parked nearby and just stayed there, perhaps monitoring me.

i think once the lead car saw i was walking two small dogs, he called it off.

i imagine someone in the community called the cops on me etc. all good whatever. haven't had that happen in a long time tho. def got nervous when they were swarming me. 8| :ibrunning:

:o 10 Cop cars and just park nearby to observe you.
They ain't got nothing better to do and seriously 10. 1 or 2 cars wasn't enough.
Sounds scary too.

nah i'm cool w/ it. i could have been some weirdo/breaking into cars etc. glad they sent all of them out like that.

and yea they won't send 2 if they think it's someone breaking into cars etc.. you get the army if you're doing that.

it's crazy how they all showed up within a minute of each other. it must have been a "break in - in progress" kind of call. they floor it to get to the area - which in itself is dangerous. i knew i was about to have to deal w/ some shit when i saw a few flying down a residential street at like 70+ mph. knew they were coming right for me. they have powerful/loud engines too. it's intense. lmao.

yea any time cars roll up on you that fast, it's scary. it's better that they were cops than someone else (at least in this instance). lool.

pc!

Did you go to a PT to find out what the issue was with your hips?

nope. it's more-so my adductor origin tho.

I had something like that of an issue recently, my inner hip started hurting when I was running but it was a dull pain, so I had to be careful and let it heal. then did some stretches. It would hurt when I rotated my legs laterally inwards.

ah damn. injuries suck.

Quote
But it would be useful in finding out what the issue is and if there is any chance of recovering from it.

good luck with it.

thnx man!
