Thanks Coges! He's healthy and seems to be a cheerful kid. Hasn't been crying much, which is great but I don't want to talk to soon haha.

The game against the Sunraysia rep team didn't get taped but it was a fairly frustrating game. We ended up losing 38-18 because we got killed in the middle. No video of the game unfortunately.
Club game on Sunday was also a fairly frustrating affair but we won 28-12 in the end. I made 10-15m with most of my carriers but didn't score any tries :(

Upcoming week-
Rugby league training on Wednesday and Friday night. Than I'm playing 2 games over the weekend 1 for State on Saturday and than a club game on Sunday.
The State game I'm playing for South Australia against a rep team from regional Victoria this Saturday.

The club game is on Sunday against the Tigers. Hopefully I pull up alright after the game and don't feel too tired as I'll literally be sitting on a bus for 10 hours on Saturday (5 hours travelling to Mildura and another 5 hours travelling back after the game).

"I'm in a league above them but I'm underrated. When I became a drunk that's when my hunger faded. It's fucked up I wonder what would Hunter say if he could see me almost try and leave the scene he once created. On top of that I think my stomach ache is unrelated, nothing changes when you dumb and wasted coz you fkn crave it. I chug 100 cases til I'm suffocating looking back I see it's just a shovel that I dug a grave with".

Sounds like it was a fairly heated game but that's good coz it usually means the game is competitive. Good luck for the Finals!

Nice work. The most fascinating part for me was listening to the ref. Sounded like he was commentating from the sidelines.

Thanks!
The ref is mic'd up so the sound quality is pretty good. He also has a headset/earpiece that is used to communicate with the touch judges who can communicate anything they see that they believe the ref has missed.

Rugby League-
Played on the weekend and my team the mighty Bulldogs won 44-0 against the Eels ;D

I'm wearing #5 in White. Unfortunately I didn't score any tries but I had about 15 tackles and a couple of decent runs. My best opportunity to score was at 41:45 in the video where I actually had a try but it was disallowed because apparently I must have just stepped over the sideline :(

Body wise I've been feeling good. No issues with my achilles but I have a bit of hamstring soreness in my right leg, which I attribute to poor warm ups in training this week. Not sure if I'll do squats tomorrow. I've also got some flu like symptoms and have come down with a cold so yeah probably just best to rest up tomorrow and give the gym a rest.

That sucks about the dog but like you said hopefully it gets a 2nd chance at life. It's also lucky that it was you that the dog attacked and not your kids. I got bit in the face by a dog when I was a toddler and that always made me scared of dogs when I was a kid and you know dogs seem to have this sixth sense of detecting nervousness and then going after it...I definitely wasn't a fan of dogs when I was a kid but I grew out of being scared of them when I was around 10.

I played in the South Australian City V Country rep match for the city team and it was an absolute whitewash. We were scoring at will out there. I scored a try and one try assist.

Hopefully some footage gets uploaded soon and I can post up another couple of videos. They named the State Team today and I've been selected in the team.

Well last week was very disappointing. The ANZAC day clash ended up getting cancelled but the club game still went ahead. We played shit and lost 30-22. Here is the video of the game if anybody is interested- I'm Number 5 in the White team- Bulldogs.
