ohh boy.  i probably shouldn't comment as i've only read the last page, and page 1 and 2.  skipped the rest.  but i imagine i won't find too much new stuff in between.  it seems to be raptor really needs to changing his thinking.  if you've been at this for 2 years and have not manage to really cut fat, you're doing it wrong.  take the experience ppl's advice and follow them.  diet is hard, but how can you say you don't believe in that??!?!  we are what we eat!  there are very few exception (some ppl can eat TONS with out gaining weight) but most of us are not that lucky.

just my 2 cents...

i was thinking about this the other day.  lot of old tcm training has ma-bu or horse stance training and other variants.  watch how controlled he is as he seem to shift weights effortlessly while remaining butter smooth and balanced at all times.  i've done a tiny bit of martial arts and it's really not easy to move like that...

if one can do single leg body weight squats easy would this person be able to squat 2x his body weight pretty easy?  i'd think so...

i'm sure that's just a clause to previous commercial filming and stuff.  filming for personal log purpose is probably ok, just ask the management nicely and you should be good.  $35 is so cheap!!  how long do you have to sign up for?

by eating good do you mean getting enough more protein mainly?  my diets are overall pretty good.  hardly any vice.  also, for you did when you gain mass were you able to minimize fat gains or did both come at the same time and you worked the fat off later?

awesome looking stills.  since you're about my frame/reach your stats and photos are highly motivation for me.  when 1 day i get closer to your squat numbers (hopefully in 1.5-2 years) i hope i will have 35+" standing too.  i hope to hit 1.5x atg squats before mid 2011.  :-)  do you remember typically how fast your squats numbers go up and your training frequency then?  or, what method/schedule seem to have been the more efficient gains...

Boxing / Re: Boxing Gif's

which fight was this?  i don't recognize the fighters.  (i don't follow boxing that much)  why was it made to a .gif anyway?  should be a vid so it'd be a lot easier to watch replay...  that hook looked really damn fast!  but the offensive stance by the black guy looked pretty darn terrible.  i mean, south paw stance, but yet it looked like he was going to jab or straight with a left?!?!  wtf.  totally put him to sleep.  wow.

ps, duh me.  just saw the other threads.  "Sergio Martinez is the truth. Sergio Knockout Paul Williams"...

can someone recommend the type of glove i should get?  photos would be helpful.  as the weights gets heavier the weak link is my grip.  holds true for DL's and heavier db for walking lunges (high rep count @ 50+ lbs each hand)...  i've seen gloves with stapes attached to it, and google results shows this http://www.newgrip.com/ is that any good.  factual product feedback much appreciated!  thanks.

yah i think i'm gonna pick up a lot of chicken breasts and grill or steam them...  also organic eggs relatively cheap in taiwan.  100nt or $3 gets me 24-26 of them.  and i don't mind eating lot of egg whites.  hmm, just did the math and i'm paying 700nt ($27.33) for a kg of whey and that's 800g of protein.  the same 700nt would buy me at least 700g of egg white protein (based on 4g per egg white).  seems like natural is the way to go for me.

non organic eggs are even cheaper 100nt gets over 30 of them.  since i'm only gonna go for egg whites they're probably good.  the color and texture of the yolk is vastly different.  organic yolks are rich, orange and reddish in color, less fluffy when boiled.  non organic yolk are light shade of yellow and more dry when boiled.

Introduce Yourself / Re: HI ! I'm LMD !!!

i'm on my first kg of casein, this stuff is yucky in texture (when mix with water) compare to whey which mix so easily.  from what i read casein is full of bcaa, protein, and glutamine so i guess i better find a way to down this stuff.

my casein came yesterday and i mixed it for the first time tonight.  after opening the package i notice how fluffy the casein powder is compare to whey i had a hunch it might mix differently. at first i thought i had some bad product so i googled before drinking it because it looked kinda gross...  but apparently that is normal and i will need a blender/mixer for this stuff.

well it came out super clunky and i'm freaking chewing tar/cheese right now! at least it is flavorless so it does not taste too nasty.   i'm thinking maybe some kinda cheese omelet or with potato might be good...  don't think i wanna chew next time.

i remember those anti dairy documents calling casein poison because of the fact that it is used as a glue...  but stickiness (i guess that's why it digest slow) is just a natural property of it so i'm not really worried.  if you think of it in the wrong perspective (like chemical glue) then it does sound nasty as hell.  anybody else taking casein currently or before and did you achieve good results from it?

how are they easier?  if anything, the fact that it rotates (the one i got, marketed in usa as push up pro actually doesn't spin all that freely) seem to use more stabilizing muscles.

i ordered 3 home gym items to help me achieve my new years goal of getting below 10% body fat by jan 31st 2011.  a pull up bar for the door way, push up pro, and a roller wheel thingy for the abs.  all 3 items together only cost me $28 in taiwan and they are nice little helpers.

i do like using the push up helper it does give me a better push up work out.  since i can go a little deeper than just palms on the floor.  for $9 it's a good deal.  it helps a lot with close grip push ups actually, less strains on the wrist.
