Overrated, and I don't really understand how he'll be known as "the one who beat pacquaio" when pacquaio already had 2 losses.

You're viewed as a pussy on the misc if you don't deadlift, so I'm not sure what section you're talking about.

Don't act like you've never seen the anti-deadlift debates.

I have (people think they give you a big waist, heh), but for the most part deadlifts are viewed positively there.

^ just feel like trolling on how i was able to thicken my back as an accessory to my heavy compound lift. also, no deadlifting here.

Post this on bodybuilding forums and they'll applaud you like crazy. So much hate on deadlifts on that board...

And lol at not wanting big traps. Trapz can never be too big.

Why should I bookmark his site? Seems like a bunch of unnecessary over-analysis that will just derail someone's progress ala RJ, Yourself (Raptor), CCJ, etc.

more evidence refuting calories in - calories out results in weight loss:

These studies show that when dopamine receptors are blocked or reduced in number, rats and humans over eat. Caloric restriction in these types of animals does not produce fat loss. Same exact phenomenon as the hibernation study I posted. Caloric restriction during hibernation resulted in lean mass loss, but no fat mass loss.

Thus if someone gains weight due to this reason, or any other reason that controls metabolism, until it is fixed, long term weight loss will not be achieved. Thus the calorie argument becomes useless.

Do you even read your own studies? None of those are relevant. Prevalence of obesity in patients receiving depot antipsychotics? Really? That's a really important study on a website with people trying to build muscle/get more athletic/etc. You can think that's similar to the "hibernation study" you posted, but none of us are hibernating, so there's no relevance.

Here's some anecdotal evidence for you

That's not what we're suggesting though. People who don't understand IIFYM think we're suggesting you eat 10 candy bars a day and you'll get the same results. Sure you'll lose the same amount of weight (not taking thermal effects into effect), but you'll lose a lot of muscle. IIFYM suggests you get the right amount of protein/fats/carbs in, and after that, you can use your extra calories for whatever you want. In every study you post they don't do that, and they don't lift weights, which is also important. You're just trying to be picky and find these irrelevant studies that have no meaning (hence irrelevance) to anyone who lifts weights and follows IIFYM correctly.

You think he's exaggerating?

Caffeine is a stimulant but I don't hear it is banned.

It was banned for awhile in the olympics and the NCAA still bans high amounts of it, although I'm not sure how accurate their testing for it is. I'm not sure about other sports.

It is? I've seen it marketed with no problems here. So I guess it does something if it's banned, right? Or its effects are unknown and that's why it's banned?

It's banned because it's a stimulant (or at least has stimulant like effects depending on your definition of a stimulant.)

I don't know the legal status of it for every country. If someone wanted it they could get it anywhere.

In what way illegal? If you participate in official competitions or what?

Well it's banned in pretty much every tested sport. It's a prescription drug in a lot of countries (not the US), so buying it without one would be illegal (unless you buy it in liquid form through a research/chemist company). In the US it's not prescribed at all (not approved for human use) but it's not illegal to buy (illegal to buy for human use though). Basically, if you want clen, you can get it and not worry about being arrested. I'm just calling it illegal because the only way to get it is basically the same way you would buy steroids/serms/hormones.

There's not much evidence of L-carnitine doing anything.

For clen, it's effective for weight loss and anti-catabolism (assuming your diet is in check), but it's illegal unless you buy it in liquid form for "research purposes". It could be dangerous for an athlete. You don't need it.

jcsbck, arent you a bernard hopkins fan? doesnt he start off 'slow' every fight? sergio does the same thing.. it's tactical & his style.. but then he pours it on.

Yea, but you said Sergio picked Macklin apart all fight and shut him down. I disagree, and so did the judges.

120
Well through 8 Macklin was ahead on all 3 scorecards and he was ahead on 1 at the end. You seem to be the only one who thought Sergio looked good.
