Thanks man!
About posture , i always had a horrible one , 'kyphosis' or 'forward head'. The latest years ( after i started working out again ) it has improved significantly. I didn't know that posture is related to bench/pull ratio but fwiw you are right , the strength ratio between them used to be 1:1 when i was working out in my 20's , now somehow my back is much more willing to get stronger and bigger than my chest.

Nice, it's def not a bad thing being stronger on the pull side. As long as your not one of those gym bro's only doing bench you'll be good. If you have trouble leaning forward make a conscious effort when benching to keep your head neutral. If ur upper back is kiphotic, rhomboid work will help like face pulls and rhomboid raises. Keep putting in that solid work Vag! pz

Weight #'s are looking good, especially the ratio of pulls being stronger than bench so u'll have good posture. Always a good feeling to get it in even when ur a lil sick, keep it up ;D Vag!

That movie drive was tha shiznitz! Commercial looked cheesy as hell, but the movie was on point. The driver was an emotionless stone cold killer- I mean that he didn't hesitate and used logic while keeping his emotions in check. Hope we all can do the same in training until we reach and surpass our goals.

Program Review / Re: Can he dunk
« on: June 25, 2011, 02:44:40 am »
thewon888? Hi! I am using the can he dunk program and I can tell you that it works! I went, in few weeks, from not being able to touch the glass to touching the hook of a rim! I can't dunk yet but I am on the 7th week of training (LOL I sound like a pregnant mother waiting for the birth of a child :) ) and I believe that soon i will be doing this.
Just remember few things such as performing EXACTLY what they tell you and you must really visualize that you dunk.

One thing that still disappoints me in this program is the fact that they don't teach the correct jumping TECHNIQUE, so check these videos out:

Enjoy!

Thanks for the info, good to hear you're making progress with it. Keep training smart and hard!

Thinking about starting project vertical and there is a beginner phase for conditioning and all the reps are high. Should I start there or continue for power with the 5- 8 rep range?

Any lift you can do for 15 reps is such low intensity that it is useless for anything except development of strength endurance. If that is your goal, sure, go ahead. But other then that I would recommend against it.

Thanks for the quick reply! Strength endurance is def not my goal. The goal is always to increase vertical. My thought process was that changing the rep scheme to high reps for a short period would shock my muscles and provide more gains when returning to the lower rep training.
