If you can learn it

"Performance during stretch-shortening cycle exercise is influenced by the visco-elastic properties of the muscle-tendon units. During stretching of an activated muscle, mechanical energy is absorbed in the tendon structures (tendon and aponeurosis) and this energy can subsequently be re-utilized if shortening of the muscle immediately follows the stretching. According to Biscotti (2000), 72% of the elastic energy restitution action comes from tendons, 28% - from contractile elements of muscles.

kid got skills.

that kind of stuff is more of a demonstration of limb quickness/coordination, it's still sick though.. it has short ground contacts sure, but the forces are low.. if one were to master that it wouldn't transfer much to sport is all i'm saying lol.. it's definitely pimp though, wish i could do it without having to put any effort into learning it, because i am not willing to learn it, but i'd love to be able to do it on vid ;dddddddddddddddd

peace

I never knew plyos are about sweating!

Oh boy, this depth jump thing must really suck!
Current PR status:

All time squat: 165 kg/Old age squat: 130 kg
All time deadlift: 184 kg/Old age deadlift: 140 kg
All time bench: 85 kg/Old age bench: 70kgx5reps
All time hip thrust (same as old age hip thrust): 160kgx5reps

Definitely lesser forces than depth jumps, or any single leg exercises, but very comparable to lighter plyometrics. There are many different styles of cwalk too. THis guy uses speed, but others may have more bounce and go slower. The bouncers are using more plyo ability and I've heard people say they could dunk after cwalking. It's obviously more endurance based but certain moves require you to land on your heels and jump in another direction very quickly, like the heel toe and xhop. That is more difficult.
