the jumps themselves looked good, but the runups were slow, the landings were mushy and loud.

when you're not going max effort, work on nice smooth accelerative runups for both DLRVJ AND SLRVJ, 3-4 increasingly powerful steps, very fluid.. work on landing better too, control the landings more, it's a good way to get in some force absorption work.. think about landing soft/quiet as you're coming down, no need to stick the landings like a depth drop, but just try and land softr/more quiet.

impressed with GHR/hang snatch.. for GHR, sacrifice depth a little bit by trying to stay a bit straight, make sure you squeeze the glutes AND contract the low abs so that you're in a nice neutral position as you go down and up.. if you need to cut depth a bit to stay straight, do it.. see how it feels, it should be alot harder and much more hamstring.

i'm not an oly coach so i'll let whoever is critiquing your oly's do that (lance?).. but the hang snatch actually looked pretty good I was surprised, i thought I was about to see some spaz shit and bam, first & third reps looked really good, good stuff.. ;d

as for shooting, DID U PURPOSEFULLY SHOOT THIS VIDEO IN THE DARK TO PISS ME OFF?

loljk

but ya i can't see what i need to see other than the follow through and a few instances of good form, follow through looks good on most shots, there was one at 40s or something i remember, where you didn't hold your follow through, and you missed.. other than that, every follow through looked pretty good, not too far forward, nice wrist flick.. just can't see the feet too good etc and how everything is lining up.

but congrats, you look athletic :D

Jump snatch- looks very good for the most part, especially considering the amount of time youve been using it, good job bud!  Your starting position needs to be a little less knee bend and more hips back, the bar shouldnt be quite as low as youre currently starting from.  Just push the hips back with knees slightly bent, rdl position, then jump.  On the catch the reason youre getting off balance is youre on your toes, sit back to mid foot or back half of the foot on the catch.

Agree, look athetic and the ghr was impressive. youre doing a great job of jumping the weight up on the snatches and cleans and not pulling it up with the arms, just tighten that starting position and catch up and youre good to go.
Relax.

great vid, would like to see your chest rise a bit more before you descend during those rest-pause singles, they are heavy so, seeing chest rise/ribcage expand is a good sign that you're getting in that breathe to hold on the way down.

that 20 rep set looked surprisingly good, lol @ the jello legs, could see the jelly when you went to re-rack it.

great vid

when using those heavy weights, dont walk around that much. take one step back and then get set. try not to waste energy ;)

new video - please watch and critique peepz

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thzQQPEGJu4" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thzQQPEGJu4</a>

I already got some feedback on shooting form - gotta hold form after shot instead of dropping arms, gotta practice the form shooting drill everyday, and need to keep every shot the SAME form. Any more form advice, whether it be shooting or jumping, is appreciated.

The dunks are just for fun hehe.... but I was surprised to see the head at rim on a DUNK.... usually I always jump 2-3" lower on dunks then ME jump attempts.

just push your hips back and let your upper body "fall" forward. It looks like you try to stay upright with your upper body and thats why you have to bend your knees and thats why the bar doesn't go straight up and down.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNV2JLu_rek&t=2m04s
check how i push my hips back and my upper body falls forward to parallel (depends on flexibility). also weight is on he heels.

like this you'll feel it much more in your hamstrings :highfive:
