The silly thing is - we have the same exact plates at our track... no wonder since we have a lot of stuff from former USSR.

I want to train on trampolines/springboards/springmats so bad. There are some old springy benches at this park near my house that I used today that feel like a springboard. The potentiation is great.
"Performance during stretch-shortening cycle exercise is influenced by the visco-elastic properties of the muscle-tendon units. During stretching of an activated muscle, mechanical energy is absorbed in the tendon structures (tendon and aponeurosis) and this energy can subsequently be re-utilized if shortening of the muscle immediately follows the stretching. According to Biscotti (2000), 72% of the elastic energy restitution action comes from tendons, 28% - from contractile elements of muscles.

how does the trampoline help? I've been on a few before and it feels very difficult to jump after being on one.

trampoline basketball is fun as hell though. 540 dunks and around the back between the leg dunks with a volley ball.
I'm LAKERS from The Vertical Summit
