Not just one beast, but a few.

A fucking 150kg power snatch and a 170kg power clean by Pyrros Dimas. He did the power clean just to get the bar back in the rack for squats, but didn't feel like unloading it first, pizamp.

I recommend listening to the commentary for this vid.

Note: His power snatch at his bodyweight gets him a 79" vert according to CCJ's calculator. Dimas probably did have a pretty sick vert...

Dimas , Greek pride!!!  :headbang:  :headbang:  :headbang:

His vert is no surprise , that pic is at the last olympic games of his life , the only one he didn't win gold , at age 33.
Even then , he lifted 377,5kg in total in the 85kg category.

At his prime , in the 1996 Olympic games he lifted:
180kg Snatch - 212kg clean and jerk in the -83kg category , winning gold of course and setting WR in snatch and total.

2.2*BW snatch should be enough for a good vert , no?  ;D
Target training paces (min/km), calculated from 5K PR 22:49 :
Easy run : 5:48
Tempo run : 4:50
VO2-max run :4:21
Speed form run : 4:02

---

it's the biggest trick in the run game.. go slow to go fast. it doesn't make sense until it smacks you in the face and you're like ....... wtf?

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtGWbmNX0S4" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtGWbmNX0S4</a>

lol wtf? that's seriously impressive.. most people's (including athletes) legs would be wrecked trying to do that, especially at 43.

i don't even get how that's "parkour style", you never see that in parkour.. or am i wrong? parkour has people rolling etc, or really dissipating all energy in the landing, he absorbed a ton of force in his legs.

Actually it looks like 95 to me. But who's counting? He didn't do full depth squats in the middle there so he's obviously wasting his time.  ;)
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.
