appreciate that.. well, they are 'gray' to indicate that we havn't voted for that post.. once we vote, it changes it permanently to green (up) or red (down).. so, having them colored by default might be a little confusing.. ill change it up right now though for the other stuff.

Grey when you haven't voted makes sense. But it makes sense if you're not logged in either (because you haven't  yet or cannot vote). And it makes sense when looking at your own posts too (because you haven't and cannot vote for them).

So basically the only change i'm suggesting is showing the grey arrows around the counter -
a) when not logged in
b) when logged in but looking at your own posts

It just gives a visual indication of what the number means. And for consistency I think it should be the same appearance whether you're logged in or not, or whether its your own post or not.

the following cases are already fine, no change needed:
c) grey arrows when logged in when you haven't voted a post yet

Thanks again :)

bout to get it done before i sleep :F

i'd like to also find a quick jQuery dialog library, so if people click it and they aren't logged in, a real nice popup comes up saying 'please login to use this feature'

i did that with some mobile website i developed recently.. worked nice.. but i used built in jquery mobile dialog's.. pretty sure it's just a normal jquery lib though, that's included already.

word, should look better now.. maybe eventually ill put it in it's own little box.. just a quick fix based on your recommendations tho, it's decent for now i imagine.

instead of a nice popup i just used alert()... hehhhehoehfoeh

i might try to do one more thing before i sleep, move /forum into /, and just create a rewrite for /forum to make sure our old links work.

ok, so now on, everything will be created without /forum... so, adarq.org/forum is now adarq.org

adarq.org/forum/xxx/yyy/zzzz is now adarq.org/xxx/yyy/zzz

however, the old /forum links will still work, so we don't have to worry about having our posts becoming unreachable etc.

seems to be working good, i had to mod a ton of settings in SQL db + modify mod_rewrite rules, aside from just moving stuff over.

i'd be willing to bet everything is working good... but if someone experiences an error due to the new merge into /, reply here!

peace im out GN ;f

we have a new search bar now too. looks decent.

Looks nice. I find the font inside the bar a tad tiny.

Quote
the goal is to group all 'buttons' into menu bars etc.. so to really tighten/clean everything up.. i'll easier-on-the-eye variations for the other menu bars such as the post/reply/modify etc..

really loving that main one though.. css3/html5 is really nice.

it shows! great job so far.

i have a nice little flash card project i need to start soon.. going to create a 'Learning Center' subforum with child boards so it doesn't take up much space.. too bad i lost my science & practice e-notecards i made... will have to re-do them one day, for this project.

sounds intriguing look forward to checking it out. you should make a seperate thread just for discussing project ideas, that would be cool.

good night take it easy.

it's the biggest trick in the run game.. go slow to go fast. it doesn't make sense until it smacks you in the face and you're like ....... wtf?
