I too suffered from this. What I did in a nutshell:

-Purchased personally designed orthotics as prescribed by my physio 
-Started wearing good supportive footwear everywhere (barely wear thongs, slip ons, vans ect)
-LOTS of soft tissue work for the ITB's, TFL, glutes, piriformis, hip flexors, basically everything tight around the hip joint. When I mean lots I mean everyday, foam rolling being the bare minimal. I'd even recommend acupuncture/dry needling.
-Followed the neanderthal no more program:

Basically got stronger from there, focused on good lifting technique and slotting in my pre hab/corrective stuff each session.

generally a linkage of muscular imbalances across the whole body contribute to such podiatry disorders so you should consider how it is effecting your posture, hip alignment ect.....
