On another note, Luka Modric is amazing, like beyond belief. He needs to win best player for the World Cup and Ballon d or since he won the Champions League with Real Madrid. He's controlled 3 games that went 120 minutes, how nuts is that. I've never seen a player like that, running all over the place then connected on nearly every pass perfectly with either foot and all parts of his foot. Usually teams have a midfielder who runs all over and makes tackles and another who keeps his legs fresher to make accurate decisive passes. He does both consistently and itsss absolutely nuts.

Agreed, he is relentless, so much heart. Even when he ends up looking a bit tired at the end of some match, he finds another gear & still has his technique/precision.

Can't wait to see the match tmw, and can't wait to see what Modric can do. I also feel like Giroud will have a big performance.

France is my team tho, other than the US soo.. FRANCE!!!!

dier almost scored but defender kicked it away. Belgium score 2-0. Just humiliating for England.

This is exposing England's real ability.

Also a side note, the people in the final are the only ones to defeat argentina no one else has defeated argentina.

ENG looked bad :(

They just don't look good on the attack. They make so many mistakes, seem too afraid to take risks/shots, pass up great opportunities etc. I mean, that's versus tough opposition. Against easier opposition they look very different.

undoubtable

Hahaha I saw you got all that France gear! I really like them as a team, but I'll be mostly neutral while leaning for the underdog. The only thing I want is for it to be a good game. Realistically I think Croatia has played their best soccer and then some, I'm not sure how much they have left. With France, they've been so solid and in control of their matches and I don't even think they've quite peaked as a team yet. I'm really hoping its not a 2-0 or worse result with France in control. You never know though, lets just hope for a good game.

Giroud bicycle kick pass, almost converted. that would have been incredible.

Griezmann is so smooth man. he impresses me more than most, just so much control, so relaxed, so effortless.

Man o man france pulling it up a notch and croatia are starting to fade.

France is going to take the cup home. croatia should be happy as runner ups. second place.

France responding to croatia's aggressive play with their own aggressive play. just an awesome match even though i want croatia to win but france are playing very well.
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

A lot of opinions around the handball that gave france a penalty, which var is used but used incorrectly as some people have said that why they show it in slow motion when you are looking to see if hand ball was intentional I don't think it was intentional so penalty was not right decision.

VAR is a good thing for football for there is also room for improvement from ref's who analyze it and how it should be analysed to stop making mistakes like the penalty given to iran against portugal I think the one that nearly kicked portugal out of the tournament.
