Mayweather hunted by the irs for the unpaid tax. But he has asked them to wait for the mcgregor fight and here I was thinking he was loaded, but majority of them are tied up in stock or somewhere.

Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up

Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

ya that seems to be the theme with rich flashy athletes, always squandering it..

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/768256-floyd-burns-a-100-bill-in-an-atlanta-club-money-doesnt-seem-to-be-an-issue

if in the end he loses it all, we shouldn't be shocked.

Mayweather vs mcgregor ppv cost same as the ppv cost for mayweather vs pacquiao like wtf. $100 to watch in HD. Desperate attempt at making the same money they made when may fought pac.
http://www.boxingscene.com/mayweather-mcgregor-ppv-cost-99-95-watch-hd--118367

Result of the wbo rescore of the match with 5 judges had it 7 rounds to 5 for horn.
http://www.boxingscene.com/pacquiao-horn-investigation-wbo-backs-scores-explains-why--118368

Quote
Upon the analysis, the findings stated that Pacquiao won the 3rd, the 8th and 9th by 100%; the 5th round was won by 80%; and the 11th round by 60%. Horn won the 1st, 6th and 12th rounds by 100%; rounds 2nd, 4th, and 7th by 80%; and then, the 10th round by 60%.
From the results, it can be established that Pacquiao won 5 rounds while Horn won 7 rounds.
:headbang:

McGregor has always been a trash talking type of player and always seems to back it up in the octagon and mayweather is the same in boxing so i think the tour may provide some sort of entertainment to hype up the event. who knows mcgregor may use some dirty tactics, which is required and pressure to beat mayweather. but I don't see that happening but conference should be entertaining.

wow...

they need to do that more often for controversial decisions, I love how they did the percentages per round. that's impressive.

also, fwiw, I had it 7-5 HORN which could easily have been 6-6 or 7-5 PAC, that's just a close fight.. but had it 7-5 HORN..

Haha I just came to post that Horn got the WBO decision but I was beaten to it :P

It'll be interesting to see who he fights next. I mean obviously a rematch with Pacman is the honourable thing to do as it was Pacman that stepped up and gave him an opportunity. However, it's risky because if he loses than that takes some appeal off other boxers wanting to challenge him and get big fights.

Bummer, would've been difficult to overturn the decision I'd imagine. Lesson I learned was how much the media you watch the fight (or any sport/ politics/ etc.) can affect your reality. I watched it on ESPN and was flipping shit like many Americans. Seifullaah73 watched it on a British network and clearly saw a Horn victory (closer to reality).

If the score was either 7-5 to horn which I had it, or 6-6 or 7-5 for pac, it wouldn't have been controversial because that close, some rounds could have gone either way depending on the judges. As much as I love the commentary I will have to rate it on what I see. But yep I saw horn to be the more effective fighter.

Live Press conference (will remove when finished)
[finished]

Mcgregor managed to light the fire in mayweather, with mayweather starting to trash talking mcgregor with style like the old pbf. Fun to watch.
Let's hope for some more antiques from mayweather's side for the next conferences like mocking and other things he did with dela hoya.

i'd be curious to see if Pac pushes for a rematch though .. a rematch against a guy like that, late in his career, who head butts like crazy and is just a rough dirty fighter, doesn't sound like something he will want.. but with the independent review, he might "have to" before taking on another opponent. Might be the end for pac.. I'd like to see him try and avenge this loss, I think he would be able too. He'd fight smarter & not put so much faith into being able to KO Horn.

Yeah you have to be careful listening to announcers in fight sports, where anything but a finish (KO/TKO/KD) becomes subjective. These announcers are fans just like us, they love the sport.. so they have their favorites & can subconsciously spin it in their favor. They also judge differently, and they feed off each other. Bradley held his own versus those seasoned ESPN announcers. I'd expect the same thing from Malignaggi if he was there, or Roy Jones Jr if he was there. I think the key here, is that fighters themselves are harder to sway/push around. It's hard for them to just "give in" to the moment and go with the crowd, if it's not what they are feeling/experiencing. Roy Jones Jr for example, always shuts down Max Kellerman on HBO broadcasts. But even fighters become fans too, so leaving it up to the judges/subjective opinion always carries risk.

FWIW, I watched it on ESPN and still thought Horn won.. :ninja:

LOL WTF IS WRONG WITH ME LOL.

Regards to Mayweather vs mcgregor that fight is being hyped to its maxium by both sides, mayweather wants to go out with a bang. They predict it to be bigger than mayweather vs pacquiao. How is such a one sided fight between a pro fighter and a pro boxer getting this much attention. You have the irish fans, the mcgregor fans (which is in the millions), supporting their fighter, you got mayweather fans and then you have the little of the others who are interested.

I watched the conferences and it is bringing out the vintage mayweather and it is really big somehow. I just don't get it. You got trash talking from both sides, antics (almost spelt it antiques lol) and singers. 10000+ people attended the conference and majority were conor supporters. I think it may actually get close but will not be bigger than mayweather pacquiao cos they both brough their fans and the die hard boxing fans, the die hard fans know how one sided this is.

and again I can't believe I posted that tennis stuff in the boxing section lol.

lmao @ the tennis stuff.

it's easy to get when you watch mayweather WWE videos:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua3nTNttHKw" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua3nTNttHKw</a>

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFMzwfW4hxA" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFMzwfW4hxA</a>

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4Le-hZWgLo" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4Le-hZWgLo</a>

he's a huge WWE/WWF fan.

he figured out how to make MORE money by playing the villain.. he's a showman. he's just messing around, making more people hate him, who spend money to see him get wrecked & lose a fight, which never happens.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52m5-Subn2s" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52m5-Subn2s</a>

this stuff is garbage from every angle.

:/

Sr could probably beat Mcgregor in boxing :/

Lol I came across this. I understand what you mean about playing the villain. This makes me wonder won't this have a backlash outside the ring when real people hate him and may do stuff even though that was just his smart business move he made.

Just saw guerrero vs figueroa jr, cool fight. Figueroa started slow but next round was just savage rocking guerrero's head back, knocking him down which after guerrero came in charging and still got knocked out. Damn at the hits. When you knock someone down or topple them, their defence just goes plumetting near to nothing as was with guerrero when he got dazzled his hands came straight down and he was hoping to defend somehow without his hands lol. Next round guerrero came rushing into figueroa like a bull but figuero settled him and knocked him out and just had to be stopped.

Arthur abraham against eubank jr, arthur using shell defence and eubank just unleashing combo but mainly his uppercut, like 5 times in a row and still that defence is soo effective. How does one break that? maybe hitting the body alot that it comes down. But you risk injuring your hands when you hit his elbow.

Also miura vs berchelt, I watched the highlights. I didn't see much for miura but berchelt bringing the heat.
