Seems the rematch will happen in may 2018.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/boxing/4946979/saul-canelo-alvarez-gennady-golovkin-may-5/

I give golovkin the edge to win more convincingly as he neutralizes canelo so well
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strength comes from the legs, Power comes from the torso and Speed comes from the arm. Al Vermeil
Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

Yuriorkis gamboa vs jason sosa - I don't know why but when I hear these names I feel like they have already fought. The fight was mediocore. I didn't watch the entire fight. So not sure if robbery or not.

kovalev back in action with easy win and with his 2 titles.

Damn, I missed the fight but saw the highlight. I didn't except sadam ali to be quite good. Cotto landed some power shots but ali was agile and landed those clean shots especially the one that rocked him. Cotto was not defending as normal maybe because of the torn bicep.

Dela hoya says that he has a confirmed torn bicep, which shows his warrior side. No official news about it yet.

Salido vs Roman - Salido just looks a little too old and sluggish, so he would find hard against people who aren't sluggers.

:(

he probably was in pain .. but it's also boxing at the highest level, a sport which many a time, fighters continue with broken hands, jaws, lacerations, or literally ankles in the case of Bradley lmfao.

he looked like he just quit to me.. which is just disappointing.

yep he did quit. It's common to see a top level boxer stop due to hurting hand.

Now people will not remember him being for being great but for quitting against lomachenko.

Damn! that was quite epic. John molina is a tall power puncher. He carries great power. Redkach's early, well sort of, celebration.

Redkach will never live that down.. what an epic failure. First the early celebration, then sticking his tongue out and getting KO'd.

I'm not a fan of Molina's boxing skills AT ALL. I am a huge fan of his heart. This is like the third time i've seen him go down/get wrecked, and then crush someone. He's a monster, who has shit defense. It's incredible.

Good stuff! Thanks!

excited about Spence vs Peterson.

not sure which version of Donaire will show up against Frampton .. so no idea.. but Frampton should wreck him at this point.

Alexander/Ortiz, got Ortiz.

Rios vs Garcia, Garcia should hurt him.

Deontay and Joshua should handle their opps, then they need to fight already.

Errol spence dominates as usual but peterson made it such an exciting fight. I think it was prob a good idea for peterson's trainer to stop the fight as peterson didn't seem confident when asked about stopping the fight, he just said what you think is right, which inside would be like I can't handle him.

Spence is not good up close but likes distance giving chance to set up combos and power shots, but when the opponent comes up close it makes it harder for spence.

Great fight. He should fight someone with great power and is a slugger as that would break spence's rhythm.

Well it's not really a boxing news but it's news involving a boxer...so.

Recently/While ago not sure how long ago lol there was the racist H&M advert showing a picture of a little black kid wearing a shirt, looked like a hoodie but nvm that, it said on it 'coolest monkey in the jungle' then came the onslaught of tweets slamming the ad as racist and disgusting and adrien broner went to an H&M store and well see the video in the link below. lol
