donaire and carl froch fights

It was a good night of boxing, I definitely enjoyed the carl froch vs george groves fight more, it was tactical, entertaining and to shut up the doubters, he ended it with a hellacious right hand, which before george groves started to pick up the pace and then got caught.

the donaire fight was ok, the first round headbut, which was nasty, which i don't like those type of boxers, who headbut, next time donaire should not get close, the following rounds, his cut was always attacked. until on the fourth round simpiwe became aggressive after seeing the blood, got careless and tasted donaire's power, what a ko punch in a remarkable fashion. After donaire's loss to rigondiux (if thats how you spell it) he has added cautiousness to his gameplan and yet still has the power and fire. i hope he gets a fight where he shows his true ability.
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

that froch KO was absolutely beautiful...

donaire looked good, very powerful. I think he'd win again in the rematch.. he needs to be very careful though, that guy had a canon ball head.

Another great fight was on HBO after dark.. fortuna vs rodriguez.. Fortuna was pretty disrespectful, saying "i can't believe rodriguez even agreed to this fight", basically saying he'd kill him.. Fight went 12 rounds, Fortuna mostly dominating, but.. By the end, Fortuna's face was a MESS.. Blood everywhere, right eye completely shut.. He was a wreck. Was hoping he got ko'd :D

MARTINEZ / COTTO NEXT WEK!@$!@$!@$!@

can't wait.. i imagine martinez will win, but cotto looks like he's back to top form. Should be a great fight.

Martinez is training 'down here' in miami.. ;f
