julio cesar vs brian vera

It was not as exciting as i anticipated it to be, julio cesar was slow and not active just like his last fights and was suprised to see the decision given to him, even though the other guy gave a lot of low blows or headbutts maybe he had it coming even so the judging still favoured julio even though he clearly was not the most active one, disappointed i don't he should be given a chance against martinez if he can't beat vera, he was good and threw some nice combos.
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strength comes from the legs, Power comes from the torso and Speed comes from the arm. Al Vermeil
Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

vera got robbed..

im so tired of chavez jr, he's a joke.. he's always over weight, fighting guys much smaller than himself..

i thought vera clearly won the majority of the rounds.. he was far more effective.. sure chavez jr landed a few big shots, but he didn't do enough to win.

so tired of watching that guy on hbo.

can't wait for the cotto fight will see where he is at and if he is good there is a possibility of fight with canelo, which i wanted to have seen before the mayweather fight.
