So was i the only one impressed with this mixtape?!

just finally got around to watching it.. ya it was nasty. I watched basketball alot during those years, so I remember this season. The most impressive thing in that video, is all of the crazy fast ball movement, quick passes. They were such a well-oiled machine.

I think GSW's 73-9 (most likely) highlights will be even better.. much less dunks, far more crazy ball handling/insane shots.. lots of similar passing and fast break clips.. probably less defensive highlights, cept for maybe Draymond.

Curry pulls off several 'holy shit' moments per game.. To me, Jordan was simply unstoppable. He made far more points inside the 3-pt line. His turn-around fadeaways were money.

Curry on the other hand, often does so much crazy shit to get a shot off.. or he pulls up from ~5 ft behind the 3 pt line.

2016 GSW mixtape will just be an aerial bombardment from beyond the 3pt line.

pC!

Wow .. I hadnt even considered there may be a GSW 15-16 counterpart mixtape .. that would be amazing to compare and contrast!

Do you think his output benefits from knowing he has to play at an etherworldly level for 3 quarters not 4? Or would he perform better if given the chance to play more minutes. I read that MJ played 40 games at 40 mins in their 72-10 season .. curry played 4 (from memory).

good point.. I imagine it could be more of a benefit. The biggest benefit is less chance of injury IMHO. Regardless though, I think if he played more minutes he'd just rack up more stats. He's just too accurate.

GSW was looking a bit run down towards the end of the season.. but the last two games they looked great. So i'm not sure if they just got over some mental hump or what.. But they look really strong going into the playoffs.

he scored 30.1 in under 35 per game. if he'd played a normal star's minutes he could have averaged 37. and he shot 50-45-90.

warriors = GOAT.

Can we talk about how fortunate it is that GSW have not just one GOAT candidate scorer  but two. Klay Thompson, who quietly surpassed the previous mark for most made 3pts in a season, set by his own teammate last season. It makes me think there is something special about having 2 competitive players ON the same team eg mike and scottie and steph and klay, pushing them to hitherto unknown highs of performance. I wonder if on any other team, these two would be underachieving, relatively speaking because they would be the defacto best on their teams without having to worry about someone else  on the team outbesting them at something. But maybe i'm just speculating beyond reason .. heh

thanks :D

some of the clips where they make like ~6 passes are just beautiful. This GSW team is so unselfish, so fun to watch.

also Curry is just so ridiculous, I can't get over how good this dude has become. Man o man he destroys Kawhi Leonard in this vid, with AND without the ball.

unless the Heat make it to the finals, i'll be hoping GSW can seal the deal and get that 2nd ring.  ;D

FUCK! just watched curry potentially wreck his knee.. he's probably ok but he slipped really bad and you saw his knee cave in medially. He limped off the court..

i dno, looked somewhat bad.

someone fell down, with their sweat on the court. a few seconds later curry tries to stop fast and slides on it.

:(

it looked like they were going to let him play.. but man curry didn't look good coming back onto the court to warmup after half time.

very good move not playing him. the way he's moving & the incident itself, looks like he damaged his knee to some degree.
