Meh. He has a point. Lets be real... hes not wrong. He does it to push the dunk game further and, no disrespect, but even Dr J, Nate and Dominique arent on his level DUNKING wise. Much less shaq or even Barry (yes i know hes an ex dunk champion).
sure but, to everyone on the panel, it's about winning.. those guys are about winning first and foremost, so they don't understand the concept of an artist wanting to push the dunk game - not in that moment.. there's 100k on the line and these guys don't make serious guap afaik.. so it's understandable from their perspective, that kilganon made a bad decision by trying something SO risky.
That said... them doubting his mental fortitude would piss me the hell off. He had the competition IN THE BAG and STILL went after another huge dunk. His mental toughness isnt in question. If he was mentally weak he wouldn't have even attempted that. Sorry, that was BS.
definitely.
i think he knew he lost at that point & once he responded to Barkley, the first word he said, just took him right into rant-mode. I mean, if he had simply stated it better, everything would have been fine.
"I don't play it safe. I push the limits."
done. etc.
