DWade in 09 literally did some things no one else has done. 2k points, 500 assists and 100+ blocks/steals. Just putting that out there in case people forgot because he's woefully underrated.

As for LeBron not getting calls...meh. It's a wash. He also gets away with a ton of stuff imo. Stars get star treatment. Always have always will.

I do think LeBron is more gifted athletically than MJ due to size. Both had great bounce, speed, strength in their athletic prime but LeBron is 3" taller and 40-50lbs heavier. MJ did possess the quickest first step I have ever seen tho. 80s MJs first step was incomprehensible. So i give that and body control to MJ. The rest tho...

right, he gets away with travels and such, but when it comes to foul calls (which happen far more often), refs let alot slide. MJ got *phantom* calls, all game. :<

MJ def had more finesse, he was a true guard.

LEBRON is just a freak who can play any position. He can play center & point ffs.. lmao. That really is crazy.

MJ way more clutch offensively than LEBRON. Defensively? Lebron might have a slight edge. Lebron def not as clutch offensively. But he's also not a true guard like MJ - true guards should be more clutch in general in my opinion, just better shooters. MJ had GOAT clutchness though.. Kobe comes close, but i've never seen anyone as lethal as MJ with the clock running out.

wtf was he talking about?

lebron confused af.

Quote
When asked whether Morey should be reprimanded for his tweet, James responded, "I think when we all sit back and learn from the situation that happened, understand that what you could tweet or could say, and we all talk about this freedom of speech -- yes, we do all have freedom of speech, but at times there are ramifications for the negative that can happen when you're not thinking about others and you're only thinking about yourself."

"I don't want to get into a word or sentence feud with Daryl Morey, but I believe he wasn't educated on the situation at hand and he spoke. So many people could have been harmed, not just financially but physically, emotionally, spiritually. So just be careful what we tweet and what we say and what we do, even though yes, we do have freedom of speech, but there can be a lot of negative that comes with that too."

I took his comment to be related to the China/NBA situation rather than the China/HK situation. By tweeting what he did Morey put a lot at risk financially which he "wasn't educated on the situation". I can't see how he could possibly mean the China/HK situation. He's not dumb and knows the value of his words. Maybe he should have been more explicit.

yea good point.

it's a weird situation. he's taking tons of heat for it, and hasn't really clarified.

i dont get this tho, maybe im the confused one :D

My team and this league just went through a difficult week.  I think people need to understand what a tweet or statement can do to others.  And I believe nobody stopped and considered what would happen.  Could have waited a week to send it.

wait a week to send it??

so that the nba could get two pre-season games aired on china TV first, before Morey voices his opinion on the protests?

i dno that makes it even worse LMAO.

Quote
Let me clear up the confusion. I do not believe there was any consideration for the consequences and ramifications of the tweet.  I’m not discussing the substance.  Others can talk About that.

dno. i imagine this is going to play out a bit longer. it's a weird one.

a bunch of my classmates are chinese and i was talking with two of them about lebron today. apparently the reaction in china to lebron backtracking is super positive (unsurprisingly, perhaps). lebron and the NBA have money to make in china, they don't give a shit about hong kong. one of the few things democrats and republicans can agree on in the US is "china bad!" US nba fans will forget about this in a few weeks or months and meanwhile by bending over backwards to kiss china's ass the NBA is protecting its image in a place that won't forget how it handles this situation.

good info.

and a pissed off lebron to start the nba szn is going to be dangerous for his opposition.
