This is LaMarshall Corbett, he was my high school teammate back in the day. He plays overseas now. He is a tremendous athlete, all I remember from him in high school was that he could touch the top of the square of one foot and two and the football coach recorded him at a 4.3 40ty. Had offers from nc state football, and plenty of D 1 basketball schools like UNC, but didn't care about his grades and slept in class so he went D2. He's trying to get in the NBA now always having workouts, I know he was trying out for the bobcats last year.
The funny thing is both his sister and his cousin had the biggest crush on me, so that still makes me laugh till this day. But anyway all I remember was he hated the weight room especially squats. But his explosive ability and quickness was out standing, he had a signature crossover and a fadeaway that would make anyone fall. So we called him Lil' Kobe. These pics were taken from his Facebook. I knew him since my 8th grade gym class, I hope he makes it to the league, which I believe he will eventually.
I found this article online from my home town newspaper
