lots of speculation that Kawhi is going to the Clippers. That'd be major.

also that the Lakers are trying to get Anthony Davis, which I think we predicted in the 2018-2019 thread.

also... i'm surprised Bol Bol isn't higher up in the draft.

I'd like to see MIA pick him up: Bam, Whiteside, Bol Bol. Huge squad. But there's talks of MIA trading Josh Richardson to the Pelicans, in some 3 way trade where the Lakers also get Davis, and MIA gets the 4th pick.

some serious footage right here. crazy potential considering he's 7'2 and moves/shoots like this:

I think any AD to the Lakers trade will be a 3 team deal. I understand the Lakers have the leverage considering ADs known want to play there but LAs refusal to add Kuz to the deal seems like a breaker.

I said last year any superstar to the Clips makes them incredibly dangerous. That squad to me is one go to guy away from making noise. Good team D all around. Strong on the boards. Versatile on the perimeter. Great bench led by a legit 6th man in Lou. All they need is a crunch time guy. The rest of the squad plays their roles exceptionally well.

I really like Richardson. (Not just because he went to a local college lol) Dude shoots, plays D, and is sneaky athletic. I was glad to see him get burn in Miami

Kuz is ok but I don't understand how that holds up a deal like that, lmfao.

OMFG.

"The Anthony Davis saga is over. Early on Saturday afternoon, the New Orleans Pelicans reportedly agreed to a deal to send Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first-round picks, including the No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft."

that's a disgusting duo.. LEBRON & Davis. oh man.

glad to see Lonzo shipped out, lmao.

yup for sure. damn @ the prospect of Kawhi going to the clips.

Lakers with Lebron/Davis would be insane tho.

Off season crazy already lol!

I was wrong on the 3 team deal. 😅

Adding Kemba would be...oof. Curious to see if older LeBron takes a back seat to AD or makes him CBosh v2.0.

hah yup.

a good trade for both teams.

definitely not CBosh 2.0 lol. Davis is a total monster. LEBRON, to me, would love to be able to take a back seat, he's all about preserving himself for the playoffs. If he has Kemba & Davis out there to take a brunt of the load, he'll be pretty fresh come playoff time.

i imagine the biggest thing on his mind right now is just staying healthy this year then going all out in the playoffs and trying to get back to the finals.

Lakers will be absolutely nuts if they can snag Kemba.

There's a few teams out there who might be able to match some of these super moves. Would have been even more epic if Durant was going into next season healthy, fu*k. Will be curious to see where everything lands.

This draft class should be an epic one too.. lots of beasts in this draft.

I'm most excited about 2019-2020 because of ZION. That's who I really want to see. Would be sick to see the Pelicans assemble a playoff team too.

Oh AD is for sure more talented than CB (or KLove for that matter). Historically Brons game hasn't matched well with in inside out PF (talking about production/efficiency for said PF), but AD is more versatile than CB or love. I agree if they get Kemba that's a loaded squad for sure even with an aging LeBron.

Makes you kind of wonder a big what if tho. Say KD doesn't get hurt and sees this love go down (before the trade/signing period is actually open). Everyone had basically said he was gone from GSW but with that kind of Lakers squad he may well have realized 'damn, they're stacked, I better stay' lol

A lot of NBA teams are still in the 1970s in terms of scouting. Pels probably one of them. How can you not get Zion and AD together and explain to them what the 2 can do?

Zion + AD  >>>>> Lebron + AD

There isn't another Zion just like lebron. but i have a feeling pels are going to butcher zions talents

I think AD has been burnt by the pelicans and like you said I think they'll do their best to butcher Zion too. I'm super interested to see the lineup next year though. Zion, Ingram, Ball, Hart, Holiday, Randle, Okafor. Sounds like they could do some damage.

i don't get the "butcher zion's talents" stuff.

if they play him too early, he'll just get more playing time, and he'll get better.

I still remember LEBRON's first game w/ CLE against SAC, like it was yesterday. it was incredible. CLE sucked and they didn't build anything around LEBRON, but he still became great. I'd have loved to see AD + ZION but AD was already gone.

man o man. can't wait for ZION's first game. will not let anything interfere with me watching that.. lmao.

Butcher probably isn't the right term. Maybe just "do nothing to develop" is a more accurate description and if he has the drive to do it himself that's great. Could easily get lost along the way though.

some of the best talents and training is no longer from USA..... toronto has produced jamal murray, barrett, wiggins, in just the last few years

no where else in the world is bball culture as strong wow!

they have one team & they've produced a few talents.

relax.

lol.

ya their fans are great.. but kinda ez to root for a team when the entire country's only option is to root for them. lmfao.
