Lowrey telling fans to chill & not cheer.

big respect to Lowry & the raptors players who knew how bad that moment was.

Toronto fans cheering Durant on the floor injured, disgraceful.

According to a 2013 research paper published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine, seven of the 18 NBA players (38.9%) who sustained major Achilles injuries between 1988 and 2011 did not come back to the league. Those who did return missed an average of 55.9 games the rest of their career, with only eight of the 11 playing a second season.

The few who did stick in the NBA for a while saw their playing time and production dip. ESPN’s SCHOENE projection system, which accounts for age and other factors besides injury that could affect someone’s performance, found that players coming off torn Achilles tendons have performed about 8% worse than projected.

However, there are reasons for optimism. Medical advances over the past decade have upped players’ chances of a successful recovery. Spurs forward Rudy Gay, for example, has enjoyed two of his most efficient seasons since suffering a torn Achilles in January 2017.

damn.

What’s good everybody I wanted to update you all: I did rupture my Achilles. Surgery was today and it was a success, EASY MONEY

My road back starts now! I got my family and my loved ones by my side and we truly appreciate all the messages and support people have sent our way.

Like I said Monday, I'm hurting deeply, but I'm OK. Basketball is my biggest love and I wanted to be out there that night because that’s what I do. I wanted to help my teammates on our quest for the three peat.

Its just the way things go in this game and I'm proud that I gave it all I physically could, and I'm proud my brothers got the W.
It's going to be a journey but I'm built for this. I’m a hooper
I know my brothers can get this Game 6, and I will be cheering  with dub nation while they do it.

damn.

this is going to be a tough game cause gsw hasnt won at home yet

I think GSW is going to light it up, and TOR is going to brick it up. Those shots from Gasol, VanVleet, Lowrie, etc aren't going to be going down like they were in 3/4/5.

Meanwhile, Klay/Curry are going to be lights out, with incredible energy from every1 else.

anyway that's what I expect.

LEGGO GSW!

got tortilla chips and guac for the first half.

got milk chocolate almonds for the second half

can't wait. game bout to start.

DRAYMOND better not get a T.. lol.

so much for TOR coming out cold.... LOL. :uhhhfacepalm: :ninja:

Lowrie made that theory impossible right from the jump. First 8 points? 18 in the 1st? If his team was going to struggle, he made sure it didn't happen. crazy. Now TOR looking very good.

TOR +5 like 8 minutes left in the 2nd.

Klay is on fire tonight, thankfully. Boogie ballin.
