I kinda wanna see how Jalen will do against warriors. The guy is so calm and poised, quickly becoming one of my favourite players in the league.

i'm cheering for lebron but his teammates are so out of it. this celtics team is going to get murdered by golden state.

i saw the game of the year bos @ GS but this is with kyrie doing whatever he wants at will.

Yeah it's going to be a hard finals series to watch if that's the case.

Lebron 42
Love 22
Rest of team 30

I know Cavs role players take a lot of shit but honestly I sympathize with them. Just the makeup of the team isn't ideal to inspire anyone to step up, all the credit and direction is Lebron inspired. No one seems to have any creative license to play their game. If they do well, they finally did their part and when they don't do well it's just another case of Lebron having to carry the load and be the hero. Dead serious, I would hate to play on a team like that and would rather go on a long vacation than sacrifice everything for Lebron to take all the credit anyway then lose in max 5 to GS right after.

I'd much rather see the Celtics and their team inspired play. I think Celtics v GS could be fun. If not for any reason but to see what Brad Stevens can draw up. Also, Tatum is going to be a superstar. But honestly GS too good and efficient for anyone to play. I'm still mad at Durant for killing competition like he did.

Watching Lebron go 1v5 against warriors wont be that fun (to me). It will be just frustrating to see the GoaT wasted on a platform and team like that.  Unless he scores like 70 points I really don't think i'd even bother looking at the highlights. He'd have to score at least 70 imho.

Celtics prob get owned but you know they'll have their moments where they're competing as a team. I might just boycott the western conference games cos KD destroyed the  playoffs. I was rewatching the Okc-Warriors playoff game and man those were fun. Did i tell you guys I watched the game live where KD drop 40 against warriors in his last good game before he left OKC?  The guy was/is amazing, now he's just playing on easy mode and no one cares. Russell Westbrook shud have been traded instead of Harden. I hate the NBA as a staff, league and crew. Maybe Curry will get bored and go to another team and get a 3 peat there. Maybe KD will do that and give his reputation a fresh start. But no Warriors will jsut keep winning for years and years, how exciting.

To undoubtable's point about Cav's role players, i dont really have much sympathy for them. They knew from the moment they signed the sheet that they're gna be role players and what was expected of them.  They shud practice catch and shoot and screening and cutting as per a lebron offence. All of those things which every good basketball player needs to do regardless of Lebron being on the team or not. In fact Lebron makes it easier cos you're going to get mo open shots than if they were on another team. If they can't catch a ball and shoot it clean without letting the moment overwhelm them then something is missing in their preparation. 100% it's mental though. Something tells me if Jalen or Tatum were turned into role players they'd just be fine because they're not covered by the moment, they just remain calm and play within themselves.

I'm probably wrong but it's fun to talk about basketball

i'd enjoy watching Lebron try to score 70.

it's just him and the team on defense that's the problem to me. heartless defense won't get you anywhere. no hustle, no glory.

IF he's truly GOAT then he should be doing stuff like that. I dont even get a little excited when he scores 40, like that's nothing for a GOAT, those are russell westbrook numbers bro. Score 70, lets see you do something truly special.

well he's less of a Kobe and more of a Magic.. but, he needs to go full Mamba in order to pull this series out, with support from his squad on D and knocking down shots when he kicks it out.

but ya, needs to be way more aggressive & also not cramp/die.

That shot to the chin he took last night was serious. I definitely think that rattled him. That's an NFL football hit.

True he's a more of a enabler of offence than an iso guy but for his legacy it's better to have some crazy outlier playoff games in a losing effort. I think the claim against lebron is that he'd rather give up than go off in a losing situation. Maybe?

well, from his standpoint, it might make sense to shut it down in an away game. If he was on fire that game, and his team just can't do sh*t, and BOS is pulling away, maybe "giving up" would be a smart decision, knowing he can't give up at all @ home. Not saying he did any of that, or actually gave up (because he was still playing good in the 4th, his team gave up on defense), but if he did regulate his performance a bit like that because he "knows himself" and knows that he needs to dig deep af in CLE, it could make some sense. I could definitely see LEBRON doing something like that, given past performances of becoming drained/destroyed late in the finals/playoffs, and taking regular season games off etc. His only chance left this year, is to win these next two games in CLE, get his team firing on all cylinders, & rattle BOS enough that he can steal one in Boston.

But ya, I think LEBRON is someone who understands pacing himself. Go off for 70 in an away game @ BOS in game 2, be drained for game 3 in CLE ... Maybe he's just smarter than most ISO guys? lool.

Those are some very good points. You definitely have to give it to him that he's pushed himself to the absolute limit after coming back to Cleveland and understands his body like few athletes do. I hope KD is motivated to do the same at some point.

Everyone expecting Lebron to come out crazy aggressive .. comes out passing aggressive, setting up his teammates who knocked down some big shots. Then he starts knocking down big shots. CLE looks good tonight so far. BOS can't hit anything.

If CLE can win 2 at home in dominant fashion (knocking down 3's/big shots), this really could set them up for a big steal in BOS.

Hmm what's going on with James? He really did look destroyed before that timeout.. wtf? He was like staggering over to the bench... wtf?

One possession after that beautiful 2 handed reverse windmill.

beautiful assist from LEBRON to JR.

when JR (& Love/Korver) is knocking down 3's, CLE is 100x better.

bad L for BOS. Last thing you want to do is let CLE think they know how to play bball again & hit shots.

BOS can't let this happen again in game 2, have to make it more competitive. Otherwise I can see CLE going in to BOS and just ripping their heart out for game 5, with an aggressive af LEBRON who looks like he's on a mission.
