from a message thread with a buddy of mine who is a complete MJ stan and another who's a raptors fan. i lol'd hard at the bolded part.

Quote
Shehryar
So here's my updated take on GOAT: no one has ever played the game better than MJ did from '89 - '93. But Lebron is playing better at 33 than MJ did (yes, who knows what would have happened had MJ not retired the first time)

Me
Wow fazli. I know how much it costs you to admit that.

Shehryar
it does. it does
😠

Shehryar
just to be clear: than MJ did at 33

Me
The first step is the hardest one to take.
😅

Andrew
The next step is admitting that, as a team, you would prefer having Lebron's career over MJ's.

Shehryar
First of all, as friends I expect you to be more sensitive in this very difficult moment
Secondly, Dane: I bet you 100 rupees I'll never admit that

Me
hahaha
i saw this just as a colleague was walking into my office and burst out laughing
he was very confused

Andrew
Difficult moment? Did Lebron just rip the heart out of your team? No. That's coming next round.

Shehryar
Hahaha
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

Shame they couldn't keep it going.

Came across this again today. The shot, the block and the D by K Love on Curry. So good.

As soon as the the guard, not sure what his name is, took that 3pt attempt and clanged it, i was like damn, there goes that run. They were getting inside looks well but were so cold from outside. Not sure why that guard ruined the flow when they just had to keep feeding AD inside. That's annoying.

Not the best play from Simmons IMHO .. just chucks it up. i'd rather see him hit JJ on the run or something like that. Also, someone should have inbounded it instead, give Simmons a chance to get it at the end.

CLE VS BOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this series showed the glaring weaknesses in the sixers construction. you cant win a playoff series without long athletic wings in today's NBA. Was still a good series though. Next season they'll improve. Bring on celtics cavs, im going for celtics. lol.

damn CLE got owned.

don't expect that to happen in game 2 but, given how solid CLE was playing in TOR, major win for BOS, so dominant.
