shit that was insane, the crowd went crazy too

i wonder if he'll be in the dunk contest, in a way i hope not just because i don't know if he would do that well in it i think he's a much better in game dunker

ya i dno, i think he'd still be impressive though given his size + vert, kind of henry bekkering-ish.. i'd like to see derrick rose in it.. isn't there gonna be some guest dunker this year, or maybe tfb/sprite is bs'n.. i thought the guy who wins that/gets voted in, is actually competing in it.. should be really cool if it happens lol.

awee dude that was NOT a foul.  Odom fell asleep and DID NOT BOX OUT.  i never realize Griffin is 6'10" until this thread.  seen a few random high lights of him on news and that was it (uhh yah where have i been lol haven't really watched NCAA for years)...
current stats: age: 42 :: 5'11" (180cm) :: 180lbs (82kg) bf ~30% :: reach: 90" or 7'6" (230cm) :: wing span: 6" (183cm)
12 week goal(current): SQ 115kg(100), DL 130kg(110), BP 80kg(70), reduce weight to 75kg (165 lbs) and bf to ~25%
status: excellent cardio condition, new 5x5 program, 10' rim touch okay, RVJ ~30"
PR RVJ ~34" 10'5" touch @ age ~25 (worst was ~6" below rim when i was @ 190 lbs ~35% body fat ~23" RVJ in 2007-8

Target training paces (min/km), calculated from 5K PR 22:49 :
Easy run : 5:48
Tempo run : 4:50
VO2-max run :4:21
Speed form run : 4:02

it's the biggest trick in the run game.. go slow to go fast. it doesn't make sense until it smacks you in the face and you're like ....... wtf?

these were blake's combine stats.  I think his vert is a little bit higher than this though

H w/out shoes  with   weight                  wingspan                reach           body fat  no step vert      no step vert reach
Blake Griffin   6' 8.5"   6' 10"   248                         6' 11.25"               8' 9"      8.2      32.0                           11' 5"
max vert        max reach   bench     agility       sprint       drafted
35.5            11' 8.5"   22          10.95   3.28   NA   1

ya i think it's safe to say he's hit some 38+ RVJ's in the nba, definitely have seen him with the top of his head at or near rim level.

he could have had a bad day during the combine measurments, you never know, but more likely, is that he just jumps higher in games with more "adrenaline" flowing.

he's going to be what LBJ was meant to be and what LBJ never will be...  hahah, this is awesome.  i'm a fan of Griffin fo sho.  LBJ, NEVER.

why not a fan of LBJ? because he wants to play with his good friend d-wade down in SOUTH BEACH? the fans don't own players.. cleveland ohio doesn't own lebron just because he grew up there.. there is no "jordan rule".. lebron took his shitty team deep into playoffs many times, he's easily the best all around player in the league, we'll see if blake can do that.

kobe would have 0 rings if it weren't for his stacked rosters.. pretty sure he even missed the playoffs when he was "all alone", couldn't get out of first round either when he did make playoffs.

it's easy to give a guy like kobe alot of praise and a guy like LBJ none.. kobe threatened to leave the lakers plenty of times, but they threw the money at him and filled the roster with lots of talent.. it's alot easier playing in LA than "cleveland bumfuck ohio" :D

:)

peace man

edit: even if lebron went to some other team (not the heat), i wouldn't care.. im a fan of player's, not teams.. the players actually are the ones competing.. they have all the cards in their hands as far as im concerned.. "team loyalty" is full of shit, organizations will cut them loose in a second without even thinking twice about it.. fans will turn their back on them in a second without even thinking about it..

LBJ gave up.  he was in position to build a great legacy but took the easy way out.  no matter how great his achievement he will have in the future, he will always be remembered as the guy that left.  some guys who never won a ring, but is still remembered well.  LBJ won't be one of them...

franchise players shouldn't leave to begin with, and should not leave during their prime.  especially not the way LBJ handled it.
