Pretty damn good, and this is a year ago too.  From what I understand, he doesn't really do tricking anymore, so he doesn't care about his vertical, which is understandable considering he's doing so well with weightlifting.  I'm not sure, but I think I remember him commenting on one of his videos saying that he's never measured his vert.  I think it would be amazing, considering he's so strong, and he has a tricking background.

Yeah, originally he wanted to improve his vert for tricking. If that's what it was over a year ago, I can only imagine what it'd be like now.

35 at least, wouldn't be surprised if it 40. that rnning vert is easily 40. His max 3x BW squat is more of a bounce ATG though. Bounce-ATG squats are harder in the half squat position where as slower paused ATG or even regular below parallel squats are harder below parallel. That bounce takes a lot of tension off. I doubt he would be able to do 3x BW going halfway between parallel and ATG. But still, you need strong ass quads in a squat like that.
"Performance during stretch-shortening cycle exercise is influenced by the visco-elastic properties of the muscle-tendon units. During stretching of an activated muscle, mechanical energy is absorbed in the tendon structures (tendon and aponeurosis) and this energy can subsequently be re-utilized if shortening of the muscle immediately follows the stretching. According to Biscotti (2000), 72% of the elastic energy restitution action comes from tendons, 28% - from contractile elements of muscles.

Bounce or not, it's still a RAW ATG squat. I wonder if his tricking actually contributed much to his vert.

haha.

yeah he has great form for maxing though. You probably CAN'T do what I said on a max lift. It's just not economical.
