totally forgot.. the best thing that happened this weekend, an unofficial WR by Brigid Kosgei @ the Great North Run: 64:28 (1:04:28). Shattered the official WR by 21s? Unofficial because the Great North Run isn't WR eligible (point to point race).

man she was flying..

did it entirely on her own too. unreal.

COPENHAGEN HALF MARATHON 2019-09-15 !!

This is always one of the fastest half marathons.

Kamworor plans to try and break the course record (58:40).

I downloaded the "cphhalf" app, apparently it has several video streams on it.. plan to try and watch it. Always one of my favorite races to watch.

dude almost went under 58, that is incredible.

Being that he's one of Eliud's top training partners, it makes this even more significant. Eliud is going to go under 2.

He claimed in an interview that he wanted to break the WR. Knew this was a possibility. But 58:15 or whatever it was before, that's some serious stuff.. And here he drops 58:01.

damn DOHA is brutal for distance running. it's like 105F+ there for the women's marathon, something like that.

so many women dropping out of it as the race goes on.
