That guy is huge! Do you think he is on the roids? most people tell me these elite sprinters are on roids, I just don't wish to believe it.
Almost certainly. You only need a little bit of knowledge like pre-med (or like me, first year biochemistry) to know how easy it is to get away with it if you can get the right stuff but knowing the right people or simply by having enough money to convince a shady anti-aging doctor to prescribe.
The only steroid hormone, however, would probably be testosterone. You can take a significant amount without failing the T/E ratio test. Only after failing the T/E test will WADA labs run the carbon isotope comparison to see if the testosterone is endogenous or exogenous because that's damn time consuming and expensive.
In addition to test they would be running HGH year round which is both anabolic and results in lower bodyfat levels in addition to massively improved recovery. Insulin post workout also helps to recover as fast as possible along with being hugely anabolic. Recombinant EPO is also undetectable and athletes will permanently run their haemocrit high to improve work capacity for sprint training.
These drugs are not incredibly expensive, nor are they exotic and they are almost impossible to detect currently. Sadly WADA, IOC et al would prefer everyone to think otherwise.
