i don't even like 400m

Oh, no wai!?

I don't think anyone enjoys that.

i ran 4 events every meet...400m was bad but try doing it again in the 4x400m..then you now the meaning of pain

Coaches made me do a similar thing at the final meet of the year. Pissed me off. They preached a philosophy of training for the team. I did not really care for the performance of some high school track team, especially when it conflicts with the improvement of my own performance. Thus, Joe no longer does track at school.

does joe do open meets? i love track, hate team...and i'm in it for myself cuz if i was not the coach would make me run 800m which if that happens...bmully no longer does track at school....but that's if i do not get the events i want

i really wish i only did 100m, 200m, then the 400m was after the 200m

this is how track is

there are guys like me and joe who work hard...actually come to practice but it's really a waste of our time since we know more about training than the coach..anyway we come to every practice...then some guys who are genetic freaks, are super unflexible and really never have to try hard show up and take our spot.... they run pretty fast times but never make it to state...and sometimes they get hurt

while i miss 1 practice and i had 2 run with distance squad the next day...which actually counted as 2 days according 2 coach...anyway i missed 1 day then the next meet i had 2 run only 800m and 4x400m(which i have to mention was the worst team possible with all freshman and slow kids)

so yea, i hate high school track

i have another story but i think I'll save that for another rant lol

Once I feel I've reached a good level of speed I, Joe, will consider open meets.

I bobby has considered open meets but time is not on my side...they all happen to be miles away and there seem to be really really good runners there but at least you get an automatic time

and i think joe should be cool and only do it if he feels like it

and i think joe is getting pissed i am using his name in such a weird way

That is NOT how high school track should be. (This is probably why I love my team so much) And the 400m hurts... a lot. But I love it... I hate it... but I love it :D haha

o hell yea...i love the people on my track team...we goof around all the time

hey freestyling rapping on the bus ride there and back is soooo much fun

and i don't like relays but when i am in 1 i would tear myself to shreds so i can win it for my team..that's why they always make me anchor in a much needed relay win

but 4x100m is soooo hard in hand off... only in practice i mess up but in real thing i never mess up

i never did 4x100m till this year..and i have to say it's hard as hell...i did it like twice in JH and then i was by far the fastest kid on the team so it was an easy hand off...plus no rules we could look back and what not

I hate the fact that my coach wants us to switch hands on each hand off...we end up just changing it for the real meet and keep it all right hand because it actually slows us down

4x400m hand off is actually hard when you suck at hand offs as much as i do

I think 4x400 hand-off is the easiest. My coach is making us do blind hand-offs for that one too now though. That's okay, our team is pretty tight, we click really well.

same every1 gets along cool on the track team...i mean we get shitted on $ wise and never get announcements (girls do haha)  but we are all cool cuz it's just a bunch of the fastest football players and some other guys that are also cool doing stupid workouts from a coach who is a lame brain

I'm glad I have the coaches that I do. I'd hate to have coaches that don't really know what they're talking about.
